“There are three ways to ultimate success:

The first way is to be kind.
The second way is to be kind.
The third way is to be kind.”

— Fred Rogers

Our Values

Honest & Authentic

We believe in the importance of being honest, authentic and transparent. Being authentic and living an authentic life is a value to which many people aspire. This involves being real, being true to yourself and your values – and knowing what these are – plus letting down your mask, being vulnerable, being fully present, knowing your true feelings at almost all times, and more.

“No legacy is so rich as honesty.” ― William Shakespeare

“Honesty and transparency make you vulnerable. Be honest and transparent anyway.” ― Mother Theresa

Kindness & Compassion

We believe it is of prime importance to be kind and compassionate to everyone. Kindness goes with love, and we name it loving kindness. Heartfelt compassion for another person is a gift.

“I would rather make mistakes in kindness and compassion than work miracles in unkindness and hardness.”― Mother Teresa

“You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you.” ― John Bunyan

Honour & Respect

We believe that respect is about honouring each person’s value, listening fully to everyone’s point of view, and treating others with positive regard even when they do something you don’t like.

As all human beings are, in my view, creatures of God’s design, we must respect all other human beings. That does not mean I have to agree with their choices or agree with their opinions, but indeed I respect them as human beings.” ― Stockwell Day

“Love one another with mutual affection; outdo one another in showing honour.” ― The Bible

Trust

We believe that trust is the foundation of all relationships. Trust means that you rely on someone else to do the right thing. You believe in the person's integrity and strength, to the extent that you're able to put yourself on the line, at some risk to yourself.

Trust is important because it is the basis around which all human relationships revolve. Without trust there can be no relationship. Trust can come naturally, or it can be manifested. For instance, when there is always someone there for you, like your mom or dad that is a natural trust.

“Trust is the glue of life. It's the most essential ingredient in effective communication. It's the foundational principle that holds all relationships.”
―
Stephen R. Covey

“When there is trust, conflict becomes nothing but the pursuit of truth, an attempt to find the best possible answer.”

― Patrick Lencioni

Pursuit of Excellence

We believe that it is best to pursue excellence in anything you put your effort to. Excellence, not average, is the measure. Taking something from below average to slightly above average takes a great deal of effort and is not very rewarding. Transforming something strong into something superb takes just as much effort but is much more thrilling. For individuals, you usually proceed faster and produce better results when you build on your talents.

“All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence.” ― Martin Luther King Jr.

“If you don’t do it with excellence, don’t do it at all! Because if it’s not excellent, it won’t be profitable or fun.” ― Robert Townsend

Service

We believe our primary purpose in life is to serve others. Service to others is an important part of both embracing the human condition and supporting its improvement. It is a counterpoint to a primarily self-centered or self-oriented way of life.

The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” ― Mahatma Gandhi

“I don't know what your destiny will be, but one thing I know: the only ones among you who will be really happy are those who have sought and found how to serve.” ― Albert Schweitzer

“At the end of life we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received, how much money we have made, how many great things we have done.

We will be judged by "I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was naked and you clothed me. I was homeless, and you took me in.” ― Mother Teresa
